Definizione e utilizzo

La proprietà segnaposto imposta o restituisce il valore dell'attributo segnaposto di un'area di testo.

L'attributo segnaposto specifica un breve suggerimento che descrive il valore atteso di un'area di testo (ad esempio un valore campione o una breve descrizione del formato atteso).

Il suggerimento viene visualizzato nell'area di testo quando è vuota e scompare quando il campo diventa attivo.
