L'oggetto Folder viene utilizzato per restituire informazioni su una cartella specificata.
Per utilizzare le proprietà ei metodi dell'oggetto Folder, sarà necessario creare un'istanza dell'oggetto Folder tramite l'oggetto FileSystemObject. Primo; creare un oggetto FileSystemObject e quindi creare un'istanza dell'oggetto Folder tramite il metodo GetFolder dell'oggetto FileSystemObject.
Il codice seguente usa il metodo GetFolder dell'oggetto FileSystemObject per creare un'istanza dell'oggetto Folder e la proprietà DateCreated per restituire la data di creazione della cartella specificata:
