L'oggetto File
L'oggetto File viene utilizzato per restituire informazioni su un file specificato.
Per utilizzare le proprietà ei metodi dell'oggetto File, sarà necessario creare un'istanza dell'oggetto File tramite l'oggetto FileSystemObject. Primo; creare un oggetto FileSystemObject e quindi creare un'istanza dell'oggetto File tramite il metodo GetFile dell'oggetto FileSystemObject o tramite la proprietà Files dell'oggetto Folder.
Il codice seguente usa il metodo GetFile dell'oggetto FileSystemObject per creare un'istanza dell'oggetto File e la proprietà DateCreated per restituire la data di creazione del file specificato:
