Definizione e utilizzo
Il <area>
tag definisce un'area all'interno di una mappa immagine (una mappa immagine è un'immagine con aree cliccabili).

gli elementi sono sempre nidificati all'interno di un
<map>
tag.
Nota: l' usemap
attributo in <img>
è associato all'attributo <map>
dell'elemento
name
e crea una relazione tra l'immagine e la mappa.
