Fogli di stile sonori
I fogli di stile sonori utilizzano una combinazione di sintesi vocale ed effetti sonori per far sì che l'utente ascolti le informazioni, invece di leggere le informazioni.
La presentazione uditiva può essere utilizzata:
- da ciechi
- per aiutare gli utenti ad imparare a leggere
- per aiutare gli utenti che hanno problemi di lettura
- per l'intrattenimento domestico
- in auto
- da comunità con problemi di stampa
La presentazione sonora converte il documento in testo normale e lo invia a uno screen reader (un programma che legge tutti i caratteri sullo schermo).
Un esempio di foglio di stile Aurale:

L'esempio sopra farà riprodurre un suono al sintetizzatore vocale, quindi pronuncerà le intestazioni con una voce maschile molto ricca.
